SKY FULL OF FINGERS
HEARTS FULL OF SOIL
A performative workshop, held at WorM as part of the Curatorial Fellowship's programme of events With The North Sea. Workshop participants were given cues to write pieces that joined body parts, memories, strong feelings and landscape before creating their own stages in paint to perform through. The acts became automatically collaborative, as participants worked together to help balance, hold each other, the paintings and hand written poetry. Photos by Abby Beatrice Quick.
Originally this piece was called Body of Land, Body of Water. But that title has since found a better home in a new work.
